BIO

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, I caught my first glimpse of Austin during my band’s 2002 SXSW showcase. Like so many others, I fell in love with the city’s thriving culture. After completing my Marketing/Art degree from the University of Memphis, I relocated to Austin in 2003. I teamed up with Justin Parra, our original co-founder, after a few years working together within National Instruments design group. After 2 years of juggling late-night freelance sessions with the day job, I pursued Pound full-time in 2010.

OFF THE CLOCK

When not obsessing over logo marks, I stay active in Austin’s music scene. I love spending time with my wife, Desirae (who I met at SXSW back in 2002 when we were just kids!) and our 17-year old son, Zain. I enjoy smoking Texas style BBQ on my offset, drinking local craft beer, working in the yard and taking in the beautiful lake view from our home in Lago Vista.
